There are so many things going on here, it’s hard to know where to start. ARE YOU MAN ENOUGH, (OR WOMAN ENOUGH), TO BE A CHRISTIAN??? Let’s understand something here, being a “Christian” is not something we do to pass the time until something better comes along, IT IS LIFE AND WE’RE IN IT FOR THE LONG HAUL NO MATTER WHAT. As a Christian you WILL follow and obey Christ, you WILL love your neighbor as yourself, you WILL be willing to die for your unsaved friend to give him more time to get right with the Lord, and you WILL turn your back on everything worldly around you. You may not be there yet, where you firmly believe all these things, but you’re on your way and Growing in Christ. Even a baby lamb knows his mommas voice. You won’t be looking for reasons to back up, you WILL plow on and forge ahead no matter what, even in the face of serious opposition and death. Nothing scares you because Christ is calling you to come through EVERYTHING to get to HIM. HE IS THE PRIZE, THE ANSWER, THE FULLNESS, THE COMPLETION, HE IS EVERYTHING and without HIM, you have nothing. The coming days are designed to weed out the tares, the “good time Joe’s” who hang around only when life is easy, even the shallow, no root, “christian” who has not yet been persecuted for Christ’s Sake. IF THEY FALL AWAY, THEY NEVER WERE ONE OF HIS….. HE WILL NEVER LOSE ONE OF HIS. Being a Follower of Christ is THE most serious thing you will ever do. Now the Good News. You can’t do this on your own. Only Christ can bring you to a place like this, AND HE WILL, if you will only Follow Him all the way to The End, whatever that may be. Seek Him, and, Be Blessed.
