Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 1750

Daily Devotional. And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, BID ME COME UNTO THEE ON THE WATER. And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, HE WALKED ON THE WATER, to go to Jesus. But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O THOU OF LITTLE FAITH, wherefore didst thou doubt? Matthew 14:28-31. This is a call to all sheep, especially baby sheep, to Grow in Faith and Obedience. Jesus said that Peter was of little Faith. That may have been a reference to Peter walking on water, or it may have been about Peter’s general Faith attitude. Either way, when it came to Peter walking on water, he was of small Faith. Here’s the key, when Peter’s eyes were focused on Christ, he walked on water. When He lost sight of Christ and focused on the problem, his situation, he started to sink. A man of Small Faith, Walking in Obedience to Christ, CAN WALK ON WATER. Little sheep, Be Greatly Encouraged, Christ will use you just as big and as far as you have Faith to go. Just Walking with Christ WILL GROW YOUR FAITH. With your eyes on Christ, you and He can do anything and everything He asks of you. Yes, He’ll hold your hand, now Believe and Do. Step out of your safety and comfort, and into the Impossible with Christ. He knows no bounds, neither should you. Go, “Walk on Water”, and, Be Blessed.
