Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 4065

Daily Devotional. AND THE PEACE OF GOD, which passeth all understanding, SHALL KEEP YOUr hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7. Be careful (anxious) for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication WITH THANKSGIVING let your requests be made known UNTO GOD. Philippians 4:6. (Don’t be anxious about anything). OBEY them that have THE RULE OVER YOU, and submit yourselves:…. Hebrews 13:17. Let no man despise thy youth; but BE thou AN EXAMPLE of the Believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, IN PURITY. 1 Timothy 4:12. There it is, are you feeling CONvicted, CONdemned, CONfused, or even CONed by the world? Hold that thought. Are you desiring to strive for Purity, Righteousness and Holiness before the Lord. That’s a very GOoD thing, and here’s the rub. How’s you driving lately? (The elephant in the room). EXACTLY (self-examination here), how often do you go over the speed limit? A little? A lot? Ask yourself, “Why”? Poor planning of your time and you’re running late? You’re just “going with the flow” with everyone else? If you don’t go fast, they’ll run you over and cause a car wreck? “Bless my day Lord and help me be more like Christ”? A worthy request. So, how does this request work with you speeding? (Yes, I’m talking to me here too). THEY DON’T FIT TOGETHER AND THEY NEVER WILL. (OK, enough harassment). Only you can answer for how you drive out on the road. This conversation IS NOT going down the road of Legalism or Condemnation, just an honest question about a lifestyle of many Christians. Does this come under the heading, “Do as I say and not as I do”? Is there a little Hypocrisy going on here? It’s a hard question that many of us face, but to Grow in Christ, is NOW the best time to face it, find the Lord’s Answer, and maybe adjust our lifestyle to accommodate the Answer? This question is no fun to face, but it does smack of Reality and could greatly affect (effect) your Walk with Christ in removing hindrance’s to, Be Blessed.
