Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 4586

Daily Devotional. Howl ye; for the Day of the LORD IS AT HAND; it shall come as a destruction from The Almighty. Behold, the Day of the LORD cometh, cruel BOTH WITH WRATH AND FIERCE ANGER, to lay the land desolate: and He shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it. AND I WILL PUNISH THE WORLD(LY) FOR THEIR EVIL, AND THE WICKED FOR THEIR INIQUITY; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible. Isaiah 13:6,9,11. Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations also of the hills moved and were shaken, because He was wroth (angry). In my distress I CALLED UPON THE LORD, and cried unto my God: HE HEARD MY VOICE out of His Temple, and my cry came before Him, EVEN INTO HIS EARS. Psalm 18:7&6. Two more things to take note of. First, in the above verse, “He heard my voice OUT OF HIS TEMPLE”, that Temple, Believers, IS YOU AND ME, WE ARE THE TEMPLE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. “What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost WHICH IS IN YOU, which ye have of God, AND YE ARE NOT YOUR OWN? For ye are Bought with a Price: therefore Glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, WHICH ARE GOD’S”. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. And secondly, have you finally noticed the same verses have been used repeatedly for a while now? (This is a good time to examine yourself). Do you find these verses repeated over and over again as boring, “I’m getting tired of reading them again and again”? Or does the Lord show you something new each time you read them? Is “The Word” Alive to you every time you read and hear it, no matter how many times that may be? Can you do a “deep dive” for hours at a time on just one verse? Did you “dive into” any of the above verses? This isn’t about what I can write as commentary, no, this is all about what can YOU get from The Word, the Bible. Is The Book of Leviticus boring to you, or does the Lord show you something new every time you read it?  “Study to shew thyself approved…” 2 Timothy 2:15, to Greatly, Be Blessed.
