For therein is the Righteousness of God revealed from Faith to Faith: as it is written, THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH. Romans 1:16-17. Lost people want solid, tangible answers to their questions as to Who is our God and what does He look like. They’re looking for something they can see and touch to decide if our God is something they want to be involved with. For Believers, it’s hard to explain a Spiritual Concept to someone who hasn’t had their spiritual “eyes” opened up yet. We try to explain the Spiritual in a physical way and many times feel frustrated because we just don’t seem to be getting the Understanding across the way we’re trying to. AND THAT’S OK, DON’T WORRY ABOUT IT!!! All we need to do is try to explain what we see in the Bible, anything about God and what He wants to Say. The Bible, (I like the King James Version), is the Word of God and when you use His Words to try to explain Him, just say what you need to say and Trust the Holy Spirit to “translate” what you’ve said into something a lost person can Understand. As you do your best, even if you’re a “baby Christian” who knows very little about the Bible, all you’re doing is “planting seeds”, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT WILL DO ALL THE REST. He’s the only One Who can bring the increase anyway. When you plant a garden, you can work for days and still see no results. But BY FAITH, you know that your seeds are busy at work Growing, you just don’t see it yet. It’s the same Faith when you Plant a Seed “of God” and Trust that the Holy Spirit is very busy about His Business. YOUR labor, is never in vain. It may take years to see any results. Just keep talking to people about the Lord as best as you Understand, keep your “people” before the Lord in Prayer, and Trust the Holy Spirit to do His Job as He and the Lord have determined.
