Daily Devotional. For whosoever shall call upon the Name of the Lord SHALL BE SAVED. How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not Believed? and how shall they Believe in Him of Whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? Romans 10:13-14. Clarification; in no way does this mean, or give us humans an excuse or reason as to why we should go to Heaven. Some people take these verses to mean, if I don’t get to hear the Salvation Message from a Preacher, then God can’t send me to Hell, BECAUSE NO ONE OFFICIALLY TOLD ME. The Holy Spirit is Who calls people to Christ and Salvation, and He WILL use anything and everything He wants to to accomplish His Purposes. Christ Created EVERYTHING, and His Holy Spirit can use whatever He likes of this Creation to bring a man to his knees in Repentance unto Salvation. To be Saved by Hearing the Gospel from a Godly Preacher with Believing Faith is a great Way to be saved BUT IT IS NOT THE ONLY WAY. Remember, “For the invisible Things of Him from the Creation of the world are CLEARLY SEEN, BEING UNDERSTOOD BY THE THINGS THAT ARE MADE, even His Eternal Power and Godhead; SO THAT THEY ARE WITHOUT EXCUSE”: Romans 1:20. Therefore, no man or woman, under ANY condition will be able to say on Judgment Day, “I didn’t know”. So what do these verses mean? One meaning is that a Godly Preacher is a wonderful way to come to the full Knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. This Preacher can explain “everything” they need to be saved, as the Preacher is Obediently Preaching what the Holy Spirit is giving him to Preach. In this instance, who qualifies as a “preacher”? Believer, YOU DO! What does a preacher do? Strong’s definition of preacher; “A herald, a speaker, that is of Divine Truth”, and there’s no greater Devine Truth than The Gospel Don’t be bashful, tell a lost person anything you can about Christ and His Saving Power, and even if you don’t, “get it right”, Preach the GOoD News as best you can, and they will Eternally, Be Blessed.
