The story is about Faith and casting out a demon through the only Weapon available for such a task, Prayer & Fasting. My Joy is the Understanding that we, through Christ, can use this Massive Weapon against ALL Satanic attacks against us. When it comes to Satan, yes, do bring a gun, A BIG ONE, when he comes at you with a “knife fight”. He doesn’t fight fair and nothing says we need to fight fair against him either. As an illustration, if Satan comes at you with a 25, and you respond with a 100, 25 of your 100 will stop Satan in his tracks, the remaining 75 will spill over against other attacks Satan is even thinking about and put a stop to them. A crude illustration, I know, but maybe it’ll work. You’ll never “over-use” too much of Christ against a little attach by Satan. NO MERCY, hit Satan with all you’ve got, Christ can handle it. If Satan is a defeated foe, how does he have enough strength that ONLY Prayer & Fasting can cast him out? The question is wrong, this isn’t about Satan’s strength, it’s all about us learning The Truth about The Power Of Christ and His Name against ANYTHING, big or small, that Satan tries to throw against us. He is a defeated foe, and Christ ALLOWS him to hang around just enough for us to Grow in Faith that through Christ, we can do and accomplish ANYTHING Christ asks us to. The bigger the problem, the bigger the Faith, and that’s how we learn, each Victorious Battle builds More Faith ready for the next “larger” battle to come through, VICTORIOUSLY. And we keep Growing in CHRISTLIKENESS. Generally, we can handle more than we think we can handle, so He arranges battles for us to fight and Know that, THROUGH CHRIST WE REALLY CAN DO ANYTHING HE ASKS US TO, and to stomp down Satanic attacks is one of them to, Be Blessed.
