Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 4636

Daily Devotional. Humble yourselves therefore under The Mighty Hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time: for He careth for you. Be sober, be vigilant; because YOUR ADVERSARY THE DEVIL, AS A ROARING LION, WALKETH ABOUT, SEEKING WHOM HE MAY DEVOUR: Whom resist stedfast in the Faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. But the God of all Grace, Who hath called us unto His Eternal Glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. To Him be Glory and Dominion for ever and ever. Amen. 1 Peter 5:6-11. A lion walks about the jungle KNOWING he IS the king of the jungle. He fears no one. And all the jungle fears the lion. But Satan, who can go in looks from ugly scary to looking like an angel of light, can only TRY to make people afraid, to SOUND like a ferocious lion, when in reality, FOR THE CHRISTIAN BELIEVER, he may be more like a little hyena sneaking through the grass trying to sound like a lion. I’m not making fun of Satan or making lite of his “abilities”, but neither will I give him any respect. IN CHRIST, the Believer has nothing to fear from Satan. We can know ALL his tricks, traps and deceptions if we will listen to the Holy Spirit. A lost person should fear Satan as he is a preview of coming “attractions” if that person dies without Christ. A Believer will have no respect for, OR FEAR OF Satan once the Believer knows his place in Christ and the Authority he has in and through Christ, against Satan and his hordes. Satan is the father of lies in ALL he says, thinks or does. We Believers have no need to fear him, so make today the last day you fear ANYTHING about Satan. Feeling anxious about Satan? “Casting all your care upon Him”, upon Christ, and He’ll show you how He wants you to deal with Satan. And remember, Prayer and Fasting are the Big Guns in your arsenal of weapons against Satan. And with the Whole Armour of God on each day, you will, Be Blessed.
