Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 4647

Daily Devotional. FOR WHEN THEY SPEAK GREAT SWELLING WORDS OF VANITY, THEY ALLURE THROUGH THE LUSTS OF THE FLESH, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error. While they PROMISE them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage. For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the Knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. For it had been better for them not to have known the Way of Righteousness, than, after they have known It, to turn from the Holy Commandment delivered unto them. 2 Peter 2:18-21. Literally every cell and fiber of your being is calling out to Christ to bring you under convection of sins into Christ and His Salvation. This ingrained Desire must be beat down and that Still Small Voice silenced so that you can “enjoy” the fruits and labors of Sin. No matter how hard you try, you still can’t silence the Knowledge that the Lord has something much greater for you then you know about. You can try to use alcohol, drugs and sex as an attempt to cover up and silence the Life every fiber of your being is crying out for. But then, you already Know you can’t keep Them quiet. The harder you try, the “noisier” that Still Small Voice of the Holy Spirit gets, AND YOU KNOW THE PEACE YOU SEEK CAN ONLY BE FOUND IN CHRIST. AND JUST HOW DO WE BELIEVERS KNOW THIS ABOUT YOU “LOST” PEOPLE? Because we have all been right where you are now. We too still hear “The Cry”, not to COME to Christ, but to come DEEPER INTO Christ. Because of Christ’s Shed Blood, we now have that Peace, Joy and Contented Assurance of Eternal Salvation that you so desperately seek Salvation has an Assurance so strong, it will Hold you so Solidly in Christ, that NOTHING this old world has to offer can pull you away. The Cry in OUR Hearts is Godly, and we will, Be Blessed.
